Copeland Woodruff, Stage Director
Michael Borowitz, Conductor
Rolando Salazar, Assitant Conductor

The Merry Widow is one of operetta’s jewels. Franz Lehár uses his uncanny ability to create the perfect character through his music.  Carroll Freeman has carefully crafted  his English translation to honor the story fashioned by the original librettists, Viktor Lèon and Leo Stein.  Hanna Glawari, a very rich widow is being wooed by the very first man she ever loved.  Unfortunately, it is her fellow countrymen that are involved in this matchmaking when they should be worried about their own affairs.
